The interdental spaces make up to 40 % of the tooth surface in the mouth , imagine cleaning a plate only 60% will you eat from it ? Just like how it is important to get a scourer to clean a plate - we have to physically get in between the teeth to clean it , and nothing does this better than an interdental brush of the correct size.

Interdental brushes is considered 'Gold Standard ' in interdental toothbrushing . Most mouths need 2-3 different sizes(sometimes more ) to clean the gaps correctly - not too tight not too loose - just a snug fit for efficient cleaning of the teeth surface on either side.sometimes you might even have to adjust the brush heads and use it in different angles to get it fully clean. I have tried a few different brands myself and I like the ease of use of this brand, and it is easily available so when suggested patients don't get confused or flustered trying to find it !
