Sensodyne Pronamel Mouthwash (250ml) - Pack of 2
This pack includes two bottles of Sensodyne Pronamel Mouthwash, each containing 250ml. Specifically formulated, it aims to promote oral health and address tooth sensitivity, providing a refreshing addition to your dental care routine.
WHY DOES RIZ RECOMMEND THIS?
Sensodyne Pronamel Mouthwash is designed to help strengthen tooth enamel and protect against acid erosion. The mouthwash is formulated with fluoride and an active ingredient called potassium nitrate, which helps to block the transmission of pain signals from the teeth to the nerves. It also contains a low level of acid that helps to re-harden the tooth enamel and protect against acid erosion.
The mouth is subject to continuous remineralisation and demineralisation process- and it is upto us to make sure that we stay onto top of the game . So Iwould recommend , that we remineralise the teeth 2-4 times a day - using fluoridated toothpaste twice a day and in between a fluoridated mouthwash after any surgery or acidic meal.Studies shows the efficacy of 450 ppm of fluoride mouthwash on remineralisation , especially after an erosive agent.
This is my goto mouthwash for everyday.It is Alcohol free so does not dry the mouth out and easily available and relatively cheap and most importantly one of the mouthwashes that has 450 ppm of fluoride in it .As far as I am aware therer are only 2 mouthwashes that has 450 ppm of flouride the dentyl both the pink and the green bottle and these are my recommendations after especially sugary or acidic food , but ideally after any food to reverse the pH of teh mouth to a neutral one and to remineralise any damage.
The mouthwash has a refreshing flavor that is mild and not overpowering and can help to protect against tooth sensitivity and strengthen tooth enamel, which can help to prevent cavities and other dental problems.
Sensodyne Pronamel Mouthwash is suitable to be used as a daily mouthwash if you suffer from acid erosion or you have a high sugar diet , as this has 450 ppm of fluoride which most other mouthwashes have only around 200-250 ppm of Fl and so is one of my recommendations to wash out any sugary or acidic food you have had. Although please bear in mind
MOUTHWASH HAS TO BE USED BEFORE BRUSHING ! DO NOT WASH THE TOOTHPASTE WITH FLUORIDE OUT WITH ANY MOUTHWASH.
