MI Varnish delivers a powerful dose of fluoride, with the added booster effect of the calcium and phosphate ions through its patented Recaldent™ technology.

When MI Paste Plus is applied to tooth surfaces, the CPP-ACP molecule binds to biofilm, plaque, bacteria, hydroxyapatite and surrounding soft tissue.

WHY DOES RIZ RECOMMEND THIS?

Thanks to the patented Recaldent™ technology, (CCP-ACP) Varnish gives patients a head start in caries protection when fluoride, calcium and phosphate combine and form a strong protective coating. The neutral pH of 6,6 enhances enamel acid resistance and inhibits demineralisation.Recaldent™ is derived from the milk protein, casein. For many years it has been known that milk and its derivatives have a tooth protective effect. Research has shown that this activity is due to a part of the casein protein called Casein Phosphopeptide (or CPP), which carries calcium and phosphate ions in the form of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (or ACP).

This is not available over the counter in the UK , but I believe it is in certain contries so I shall leave this here for anyone who can get hold of this , it is a one up from the GC mousse , as this has Flouride which can be very beneficial in certain people as below
