Treatment
To address Miss GE's concerns and improve her oral health and aesthetics, we implemented a comprehensive treatment plan:
Gingival Hyperplasia Treatment:
Addressed the gingival overgrowth through multiple tissue conditioning appointments.
Saliva Pooling and Infection Management:
Successfully treated the pooling of saliva and the associated fungal infection.
Implant Placement:
Installed a couple of implants on the lower jaw to enhance the retention and stability of the lower dentures.
Dentures and Facial Aesthetics:
Restored the patient to her correct facial height, allowing her to regain a more feminine appearance with new, well-fitted dentures.
Outcome
Miss GE expressed great satisfaction with the results. The treatment not only alleviated her discomfort and oral health issues but also significantly improved her appearance and confidence. She now enjoys a more feminine look, better denture stability, and an overall improved quality of life, despite the challenges posed by Parkinson's disease.

Patient Concern
Miss GE presented with long-standing loose dentures and pooling of saliva at the corners of her mouth, causing soreness and cracking. Her primary concern was the excessively masculine appearance of her dentures. Additionally, she had developed gingival hyperplasia on her lower jaw, often associated with wearing ill-fitting dentures for an extended period. Miss GE also had Parkinson's disease, making it challenging to control her dentures effectively.
