This patient presented with a dental concern involving the upper left central incisor, which had an old crown, and the upper left lateral incisor, where a resin-bonded bridge, often referred to as a "sticky bridge," had been placed as an immediate replacement after extraction by a previous dentist. However, the patient was apprehensive about the long-term success of this bridge and opted to pursue a more reliable solution. The patient also wanted to enhance the appearance of the upper left central incisor.
To address these concerns, we embarked on a treatment plan that involved replacing the crown on the upper left central incisor with a new one for a more natural appearance. In addition, we placed an implant in the upper left lateral position, which served as a durable and aesthetically pleasing replacement. Following the implant placement, we restored it with a natural-looking implant crown.
The patient was highly satisfied with the results, which not only addressed their concerns but also enhanced the overall appearance of their smile. This case exemplifies the positive impact that dental procedures can have on a patient's dental health and aesthetics, improving their quality of life and self-confidence.
