Patient Concern:
A patient came to me needing an extraction of a problematic tooth but was adamant about not wanting a denture. Additionally, their gum disease was not yet stabilized enough to consider dental implants as a viable option at the time.

Given the patient's specific needs and constraints, we decided on a resin-bonded bridge as an interim solution. This type of bridge involved anchoring a single false tooth from the left central incisor to fill the gap created by the extraction. This solution was intended to enhance the patient's smile temporarily, until their gums could be stabilized enough to support dental implants.
Outcome:
The resin-bonded bridge significantly improved the patient's smile and overall oral functionality. Much to our delight, the patient was so pleased with the look and feel of the bridge that they decided to accept it as their permanent solution, rather than proceeding with implants later. The patient expressed tremendous satisfaction with the treatment, citing the comfort and aesthetics of the bridge, which seamlessly blended with their natural teeth and restored their confidence in their smile.
