Patient Concern:
A patient visited my clinic, dissatisfied with the aesthetics of her long-standing protruding upper bridge and the absence of posterior teeth. She was eager to improve the appearance and function of her smile.
Treatment:
After a comprehensive evaluation, we decided to replace the anterior bridge and a crown couple of posterior teeth with milled crowns and a bridge with a milled ledge .To address the gaps and ensure a seamless fit, we designed a new a chrome cobalt denture to replace the missing posterior teeth,taking support from the milled ledges of the restorations to aiming for both functionality and aesthetic improvement.
Outcome:
The replacement of the anterior bridge, along with the addition of the chrome cobalt denture for the posterior teeth, yielded excellent results. The patient was thrilled with the transformation, appreciating how the new appliances not only enhanced the look of her smile but also improved her overall oral function. She expressed great satisfaction with the final outcome, noting a significant improvement in both the comfort and appearance of her teeth.
