The patient presented with two retained baby lateral incisors that appeared unsightly due to their small size and were gradually becoming loose. This affected both the aesthetics and functionality of their smile.
Treatment
To address these concerns and provide a long-term solution, we implemented the following treatment plan:
Extractions and Immediate Dentures:
Extracted the two retained baby lateral incisors.
Provided the patient with immediate dentures to temporarily restore function and appearance.
Implant Placement:
After a healing period of six weeks, placed two implants in the sites of the extracted baby teeth.
Restoration with Screw-Retained Crowns:
Restored the implants with screw-retained crowns, ensuring a stable and natural-looking result.
