To address these concerns and provide a long-term solution, we implemented the following treatment plan:
Extractions and Immediate Dentures:
Extracted the two retained baby lateral incisors.
Provided the patient with immediate dentures to temporarily restore function and appearance.
Implant Placement:
After a healing period of six weeks, placed two implants in the sites of the extracted baby teeth.
Restoration with Screw-Retained Crowns:
Restored the implants with screw-retained crowns, ensuring a stable and natural-looking result.
Outcome
The patient was very pleased with the results. The new screw-retained crowns provided a permanent and aesthetically pleasing solution, greatly enhancing the patient's smile and confidence.
