Efficacy of Plaque Removal by Two Types of Toothpick

This study did not reveal differences in the efficacy of dental plaque removal between triangular wood sticks and round toothpicks. Both triangular wood sticks and round toothpicks provide similar outcomes on buccal proximal and palatal/lingual proximal aspects. Both types of toothpick were not effective for complete removal of dental plaque from the embrasure spaces
